Glenn divides his time with the IEEE Smart Village project to encourage small scale energy solutions to the 3 billion consumers,  Past chair and current secretariat of ICANN NARALO, the North American ATLARGE organization dedicated to the end users.  He is also a  ISOC Board of Trustees.

Former  director with the Linux Professional Development which included the development of the world’s leading Linux certification which included presentations to the UN and many developing countries to encourage Free and Open Source Software adoption for domestic IT development capacity.

His business experience includes international business development in South Africa with the Baygen Freeplay Radio, launch of the  first Inkmedia Netbook and work in China for twenty years in encouraging  environmental technology transfer.
